Vietnam
is one of the most painful periods in American History. When
most American's think of the Vietnam experience, they remember
only the graphic images of war. To most Americans, Vietnam is
only a war - not a place or a people. Over thirty years has
passed since our war-time involvement, but much has changed
since our withdrawal. VietNam is a country, not a code word
for a long and divisive war. Letting go of the past and seeing
VietNam for what it is today is what some of these photos are
about.
