These photos were taken during
the construction of the nine medical clinics that Vets With
A Mission has constructed in the QuangNam-DaNang Province. One
of the clinics was built at the base of Nui Loc Son in the Que
Son Valley and provides health care for a commune of 30,000
people.
The people of this area are very
friendly and eager to get to know Americans. Many worked in
this area during the war in support of the American troops that
fought in this strategic valley. The first set of pictures are
of the re-education camp at the base of Nui Loc Son.
